Frederico Ribeiro and Nuno Galante both lead Scotlands Dance4Passion Dancing School.
They met at the most famous Ballroom & Latin dance school in Portugal, Alunos De Apolo. With a combined 32 years of experience dancing and teaching adults and children alike in Social, Ballroom and Latin American dance, they are now realising their dream by opening their very own dance school here in Scotland.

Frederico is from Lisbon, Portugal. He started dancing when he was invited by a friend at the age of 14, to join a dance class. It wasn’t long before he was addicted and he was attending classes every day after school. Going on to successfully represent his beloved Portugal in many International competitions winning many awards and trophies. Whilst competing, Frederico realised that the next step in his career should be teaching as he had so much knowledge, experience and passion for dance which he had to pass on. He started teaching children and adults at the famous Ballroom & Latin dance school in Portugal, Alunos De Apolo.
He is a certified teacher by the United Kingdom Alliance (UKA) of Ballroom and Latin dance passing his exams with the highest accreditation. More recently, Frederico has made the transition of being Judged to being a Judge after an invitation to assist at DanceSport Scotland competition in Falkirk.

Nuno is from Lisbon, Portugal. Nuno started dancing at the age of 10 when he accompanied his grandmother to local Ballroom & Latin dance classes. He was hooked by the minute he took his first step. The teacher, on seeing his capabilities, invited Nuno to take private lessons in order to focus on competitions. He has also successfully represented his home country of Portugal in many International competitions winning many awards and trophies. During his career, he was also the head teacher of the most famous Ballroom & Latin dance school in Portugal, Alunos De Apolo.
Nuno was and still is a keen choreographer, he was highly sought after in Portugal and is the top wedding dance teacher, bringing his excellence and success with him to Scotland at Dance4Passion. A certified teacher by the United Kingdom Alliance (UKA) of both Ballroom and Latin dance, passing his exams with the highest accreditation.
